Junior Chamber International Dublin (JCI) is a voluntary, not–for-profit organisation for people aged between 18 and 40.The aim of JCI is to help develop the leaders of tomorrow in the areas of business, community and government.
JCI is an International organisation with over 250,000 members in over 100 countries worldwide and boasts such former members as President John F Kennedy, President Bill Clinton.
JCI promotes learning through doing and gives members the opportunity to be part of and run projects that give them experience they may not be able to get in there day-to-day jobs.
There are 4 areas of opportunity in JCI and these are
- Business (Where members focus on developing there business contacts and skills*)
- Community (Members focus in doing work in the community)
- Individual (development of the member through training / debating / public speaking etc)
- International (Members get to meet fellow JCI members from around Ireland, Europe and the world)
